HAPPY NEW YEAR! These Ecuadorians know how to party haha let me tell ya! Our mission president had us all locked in the houe on the 31st. They have some traditions that are a little scandoleous. All of the men dress up like drag queens and dance on the cars and ask for money. they also burn giant paper dolls at midnight and of course there are the normal fireworks and everything too. Hermana Sangredi and I made little missionaries to burn but we couldnt leave the house to burn them so we burned them inside.... bad idea... but at least we doesnt have flooring in our house haha its just concrete so we didnt do too much damage.

We are finding some awesome families though and im super excited to keep teaching them!! The work is a little tough in these times cuz everyone drinks and its a little hard to teach drunk people but that doesnt mean that they cant change! haha thats what the atonement is for!

I sure love you all tons and I hope you are doing good and enjoyed your New Year!

Love
Hermana Brimhall

I went a little crazy being locked in the house all day...
